A Spiritual Place for Rest – Blessed Trinity Retreat Center
Last year, our Bishop’s Assistance Fund gave to the Blessed Trinity Retreat Center in Fort Mitchell, Alabama.
This retreat center is a sponsored ministry of the Missionary Servants of the Most Blessed Trinity and offers a place of peace, solitude, and renewal. These Sisters dedicate themselves to their mission of preserving our faith in spiritually neglected and abandoned people by running and nourishing the grounds of Blessed Trinity. It is easy to feel the Lord’s presence when tucked away in His beautiful creation!
“This is holy ground. The peaceful setting relaxes and calms the soul. It is a retreat.”
—Guest at BTRC
The standout on the grounds of this restful place is the mission cross made from trees on the land. This cross is a visible reminder of the purpose of the Missionary Servants of the Most Blessed Trinity who dutifully serve the people who come to this place for rest and renewal.
“The Blessed Trinity Shrine is a beautiful space away from the noise of the world that welcomes retreatants in to encounter Christ. The ample, yet austere environment helps to keep the heart and mind focused on rest, seeking peace, and prayers.”
—Guest at BTRC
The Bishop’s Assistance Fund supports the work of evangelization, serving the poor, and advancing the mission of the Church with the common focus of enabling others to do good works locally and throughout the United States. The money donated from the Bishop’s Assistance Fund will help the Blessed Trinity Retreat Center continue its ministry of serving people seeking the peace and beauty of God and His creation away from the stress of everyday life.
