Catholic Charities Atlanta

Catholic Charities, a championed program of the Archdiocese of Atlanta, provides transformative services that empower families living in our community to achieve self-sufficiency.

Through 8 service areas and 20 + programs, Catholic Charities Atlanta moves families from desperate situations to stability and independence.

100 employees and 400+ generous volunteers aid over 11,000 people in need across 60 counties in our diocese. But they cannot do it alone.

With your help, Catholic Charities can provide the support families need to get back on their feet and increase their likelihood of achieving self-sufficiency.

Catholic Charities Atlanta Parenting Program

Through after school programs that improve reading skills, workforce initiatives that provide a path to employment, coaching that brings financial security, parenting skills that keep children safe, resources so Veterans can stay housed, legal relief for survivors of domestic violence, resources that enable food security, and much more, Catholic Charities gives families the hand up they need to stabilize and thrive.

87% of those receiving services are low-income and often have nowhere else to turn. They come to Catholic Charities looking for mercy, compassion, and solutions.

Partner With Us

You can partner with Catholic Charities Atlanta and be the change that families so desperately seek. This year’s Archbishop’s Annual Appeal highlights Mental Health, St. Joseph Place, and Veteran Services as programs in most need of support to assist and improve the lives of our neighbors in need.
I want to help the people we serve see God in the love and care we provide. I want to be a faith-builder.
– Monifa Holman, Sr. Director, Family Stabilization Services at Catholic Charities Atlanta

CCA Parenting Services

Each year, Catholic Charities Atlanta’s Parent Talk Program serves to educate, strengthen, and support one hundred low-income pregnant and parenting families to raise their children in a safe and healthy environment so that children may have a chance to reach their full potential.

CCA Mental Health Program

Finding a qualified, professional therapist to assist in overcoming life’s problems can be an important decision for both individuals and families. Unfortunately, cost is the number one obstacle to those seeking the care that they need.

Catholic Charities Atlanta is working to change that in our community.

Catholic Charities Atlanta Veterans Services

You have the power to lift up Veterans in our local community by giving them access to life-saving resources that can sustain their families and themselves.

Help Uplift Those in Need

When you give to the Archbishop’s Annual Appeal you are showing God’s love for the most vulnerable among us. We can uplift those in need with skill development, education and resources they need to stay independent.

When we come together in His Presence and make all things new, we touch the lives and hearts of others through our selfless giving and create opportunities for new encounters with the living hope of Christ.
