Catholic Charities Atlanta Parenting Services

Each year, Catholic Charities Atlanta’s Parent Talk Program serves to educate, strengthen, and support one hundred low-income pregnant and parenting families to raise their children in a safe and healthy environment so that children may have a chance to reach their full potential.

Services focus on family support, child development, and early interventions to educate expectant parents, new parents, and caregivers/guardians raising infants about how to successfully navigate parenting.

"Catholic Charities Atlanta became involved and a parent aide came inside of my home and hands-on showed me how to one at a time handle each one of my children."  -Shannon Brooks

Shannon’s Parenting Success Story

Without these tools, clients like Shannon lack the support and knowledge to provide a safe and healthy environment for their children to thrive.

Successful parenting starts at home and Triple-P Certified staff make monthly home visits, increasing programmatic success through in person, one-to-one services. Preservation of the family is vital to a healthy community and services are offered to families to prevent the removal of children from their home or re-entry into the foster care system.

With your help, Catholic Charities Atlanta can continue to offer parenting skills to those who need it most and make the difference in the lives of families:
