Dei Beneficia Donor Event 2024
The Office of Mission Advancement gives thanks to God for all His blessings and to all the people of God for sharing the gifts God has bestowed upon them to help build up the Kingdom and serve those in need.
Donor Quotes
“We give to the Archdiocese of Atlanta to share God’s blessings to us and provide financial opportunities to those in need of a helping hand. We are not able to know all the needs, but we are confident that when our gifts are added to the gifts of many others, our collective donations are used to support our Church in many different ways. We continue to rely on the Office of Mission Advancement to determine the current priorities and complete the distributions equitably.”
For Kenneth and I it is our pleasure and our duty to give to the Annual Appeal because of Matthew 25:36-40 and James 2:15-16. We love Jesus and helping the archdiocese help those who are in need allows us to fulfill our obligation to do so. We can't always reach those in need with our person so whenever we can we do so with our treasure. Praying for the hands who will do the work of God.
Giving Level Awardees 2024
The Caritas Christi Award is given to the donor who exemplifies the sacrificial love of Jesus Christ, the lamb of God, who gave himself on the cross for the salvation of all people. Caritas Christi (love of Christ) is the highest recognition the Archdiocese of Atlanta bestows each year. Caritas Christi Donors, through their sacrificial giving, enable the Archdiocese of Atlanta to go above and beyond the work they could imagine due to a lack of financial and other necessary resources to continue the work of God in the Archdiocese of Atlanta.

Imitating the humble and incredible faith of the Blessed Mother Mary, Bonitas Mariae donors are celebrated for reflecting the ‘goodness of Mary’ – the Blessed Mother of God, Morning Star, Comforter of the afflicted, and the Help of Christians. Your generosity, as Bonitas Mariae donors, is not only a reflection of Mary’s goodness but also a testament to her intercession, which has greatly aided the work of the archdiocesan office in serving the people of God in the local diocese and beyond.

Donors in the Bishop’s Circle are celebrated for their inspired generosity and discipleship as they support the bishops' work in shepherding the people of the archdiocese. Our auxiliary bishops assist the archbishop in the many works within the archdiocese, and their support is vital in addressing these needs. The Bonus Samaritanus (Good Samaritan) award allows the archdiocese to support projects and programs not entirely covered by collections from the Archbishop’s Annual appeal or not included in the collection from the annual appeal. This award encourages parishioners to look beyond their parish borders and help others, particularly from parishes with limited financial means, thus exemplifying St. Paul’s exhortation about the faithful as one body in Christ.
