Inaugural class of Ministry and Service Ambassadors arrive at Heritage

Move In

How exciting! The first class of ministry interns has arrived at Heritage, in Sharon GA. The interns settled in on Friday, August 30 after lunch in Pine Lodge with their families. They have already been busy and helped serve at a retreat for 30 people that was hosted just a few days after their arrival.

The Ministry & Service Ambassador Program provides young adults with the experience of living in community while gaining real life experience working on and in the sacred spaces of the Purification in Sharon, Georgia. Built upon the six core values: radical hospitality, devotion to the blessed mother, restoration, service, historic preservation, and community Ministry and Service Ambassadors commit time to prayer and discernment while gaining real-world working experience in a historically catholic setting surrounded by 200 tranquil acres.

The MSA’s orientation will include an important session with Kaitlin Byrne, the MSA Recruiter and Coordinator, whose role is made possible by generous donor gifts. Kaitlin will have an ongoing lead in organizing the intern’s Catholic formation and the deepening of their devotional and prayer life.

Heritage is grateful to the generous donors who have made it possible for Charlie Crone, Olivia Schatzle, and JJ Fuchko to serve in the MSA Program for this inaugural year.
