Meet Cynthia Alvarado, Eucharistic Missionary and Eucharistic Congress Attendee, Funded by Archbishop’s Appeal

Cynthia Alvarado shared this message about her ministry, which is partially funded by the Archbishop’s Annual Appeal:
Nominated by my Pastor as a Eucharistic Missionary at Saint Phillip Benizi, I also serve on the Intercultural Committee for the Archdiocese of Atlanta. At the 2022 Eucharistic Congress, I witnessed the transformative power of God and the Eucharist. People of all ages sang, prayed, and celebrated with joy and devotion, reflecting God’s love. Engaging with young adults and teens about Eucharistic Miracles, I invite everyone to open their hearts to the Holy Spirit. Together, let’s love others as God loves us and see them through His eyes. Without God’s love and grace, we cannot love and inspire others. This is my prayer.

Mi párroco me nominó como misionera eucarística de Saint Phillip Benzi y también sirvo en el Comité Intercultural de la Arquidiócesis de Atlanta. Fui testigo del poder transformador de Dios y de la Eucaristía en el Congreso Eucarístico de 2022. Durante este vento, personas de todas las edades cantaron, oraron y celebraron con alegría y devoción, reflejando el amor de Dios. La generosidad de quienes contribuyeron a la Campaña Anual del Arzobispo, apoyando a la Oficina de Evangelización y Discipulado, me ha inspirado profundamente. Me motiva a dedicar más tiempo y recursos para beneficiar a los demás. Continuaré compartiendo mi fe, expresando mi amor por Jesús en la Eucaristía. Al compartir con adultos jóvenes y adolescentes los milagros eucarísticos, invito a todos a abrir sus corazones al Espíritu Santo.
