Catholic Mission Outreach

Catholic Mission Outreach (CMO) is the international outreach program of the Archdiocese of Atlanta that supports the work of evangelization and serves the needs of the poor throughout the Catholic Church worldwide. It is funded primarily through second collections in parishes as well as direct donations to the CMO fund.

Over the past 3 years, your generosity to Catholic Mission Outreach has enriched the lives of the most vulnerable in 52 dioceses from 35 countries. Your funding is the financial fuel to help assist dioceses in most need, from religious orders of men and women serving worldwide to local dioceses and ministries in financial crises.

Donations are accepted year-round and during a special parish Second Collection each July during the Archdioceses’ Catholic Mission Outreach Collection (formerly Mission Cooperative). Projects are selected from applications in October from the many missions and ministries doing the good work of the church and serving God’s people.
