CMO Fund Provides Soccer for Students at Bishop Konzen Catholic School
Thanks to your selfless giving, students will get the exciting opportunity to play sports and enjoy building new friendships on a brand-new soccer field with new sports equipment! Donations to Catholic Mission Outreach helped fund this new addition. Catholic Mission Outreach (CMO) is the international outreach of the Archdiocese of Atlanta to support the work of evangelization and serving the needs of the poor throughout the Catholic Church worldwide. CMO is funded primarily through second collections at the parishes and donations to the CMO fund. CMO ties the support of the parishioners of the Archdiocese to this excellent work of the local church to help support the international/worldwide work of the Archdiocese.
The school located on the grounds of the Pope Francis School and Health Centre in Ghana is named for the Archdiocese of Atlanta’s Bishop Konzen.
The Pope Francis School and Health Centre works to provide consistent health care, education, and food to HIV orphans and vulnerable children as well as local families throughout the Volta region. Your generous contributions provided the Bishop Konzen Catholic School with an active physical education area and sports equipment.

The school looks forward to hosting hundreds of students through inter-school and community soccer tournaments. They also are thrilled to encourage exercise, teamwork, and friendship among students with games including soccer, volleyball, basketball, table tennis, and more.
