See If Your Parish Has Met Its 2025 Annual Appeal Goal!
The Archbishop’s Annual Appeal isn’t just a diocesan effort—it’s a powerful, parish-level initiative where every church is directly impacted. Each parish in the Archdiocese of Atlanta has a specific fundraising amount, or “goal,” that it will contribute. When you donate to the Appeal, your gift is attributed to a parish to count toward its goal. Helping your parish reach and exceed its goal is vital: beyond ensuring the archdiocese is properly funded, there’s an extra incentive for parish communities.
Here’s The Incentive
When a parish surpasses its goal, those overages are returned to the parish to help fund its short- and long-term needs. For example, after surpassing their goal for the 2024 Appeal, All Saints Catholic Church in Dunwoody, GA used their overages for new kneelers and other upgrades —a tangible benefit funded by Appeal success.
The Challenge
Despite the success stories, as you’ll see below, 24% of our parishes were under goal for the 2025 Archbishop’s Annual Appeal. Any remaining deficit at the end of the year must be covered by the parish’s general offertory. With 2025 now behind us, there is still time to help your community avoid this financial burden in 2026 and secure those valuable overage funds!
