The Diocese of Gallup, New Mexico was a 2022-2023 Grant Award Recipient of Catholic Mission Outreach. In November 2024, we received an update from the Diocese of Gallup, discussing the tangible impact of your generosity to Catholic Mission Outreach.

What is Catholic Mission Outreach?

Catholic Mission Outreach (CMO) is the international outreach program of the Archdiocese of Atlanta that supports the work of evangelization and serves the needs of the poor throughout the Catholic Church worldwide. It is funded primarily through second collections in parishes as well as direct donations to the CMO fund.

How Your Generosity Made a Difference

Assisting one of the poorest dioceses in the United States, your selfless giving has positively impacted this community by serving two impoverished Catholic schools in the area that educate the Native American population.

Your generosity has also helped to repair the roof of St. John Evangelist Parish. Once known as “Tekakwitha Mission”, it was built by St. Katharine Drexel.
